Street Style From Copenhagen Fashion Week - AW25 Season

Sure, the runways had their moments, but what I love to observe the most is the streets! Copenhagen’s street style is always a masterclass in making bold choices look effortless, and this season was no exception. Here’s what had me taking notes...

Bonnets

Bonnets have been trending a lot on Instagram, but when paired with modern tailoring and oversized jackets, they became a statement piece. The juxtaposition between the soft, almost retro vibe and the sharpness of streetwear made for one of the most stand out trends of the week. I love the way it can bring a contrasting colour palette to an outfit.

Colourful Tights

I particularly love the idea of blue tights against opposing skin tones. It’s a bold, striking choice that I haven’t quite tried myself but would love to experiment with. Paired with unique patterned coats or structured pieces, the pop of colour added a surprising level of fun.

Fringe

Fringe took centre stage on Copenhagen’s streets this season, with leather and suede jackets swishing away. It was less a 'cowboy' look more subtle chic. I've always been a fan of fringes as they bring a bit of life to a jacket.

Cow Print

Cow print has taken over this season, popping up on everything from faux fur coats to trench coats. What I love is how this bold, western-inspired print feels both daring and practical. It’s the kind of statement piece that keeps you warm and stylish at the same time. definitely not a fleeting trend. I love mixing it with leather or denim for that perfect balance of edge and comfort.

Bag Charms

Tiny accessories, like oversized bag charms, are proof that the smallest details can make an outfit. If you haven’t already added personalised charms to your bag, this is your sign to do it! In Copenhagen, everyone was styling their bags with a mix of tasseled charms and playful baubles, giving their accessories a personal touch. It’s such an easy way to make your bag truly yours and add a bit of fun to your look.

Shaggy Faux Fur

When it comes to outerwear, it was all about comfort mixed with flair. Shaggy faux fur coats, oversized and dramatic, gave that cosy, 'I’m wrapped in luxury'. There’s nothing subtle about it and I guess thats the point.
